#ImASurvivor Oona t-shirt on cute stuffed lamb! "Oona" in Irish-Gaelic means "lamb". She is our 29 year old mare that was rescued from slaughter in her final hours before being loaded on a slaughter transport bound for Mexico. She was mentally and physically abused and her spirit was broken by her previous owner. Since arriving here at the sanctuary, she has started to thrive and is learning how to be a horse. She is so happy to have a herd family to call her own now and has started to become a little bold diva! She is a survivor!
